Day 28 - PATH

The theme for the photo today is "path". We all have a path we are trying to follow. Where it leads we may not know, but we must trust in God to lead us in the right direction.
All of our paths are different. We are all going in different directions and are at very different points in our lives. This is why no two of us can follow the exact same path. The scariest part about many of our paths is, we don't know where our path is going. Being a college student, my path is very blurry. I have ideas of what I would like to do and where I would like my path to take me, but I don't know at this point what is in store for me. At this point in my life, more than ever, I am trusting in God's plan for my path. While we have control of the decisions we make, God is ultimately providing us the oportunities, people, and challenges in our lives. He does this to make us stronger and to keep us growing. In order to keep growing though our path tends to take unexpected turns. Maybe we had always planned on something happening in a specific way, but everything gets flipped upside down. These instances should motivate you to keep following the path ahead of you, even though it might not fall into your previous plan. Sometimes our path will take us through hard times full of hardship and struggle. During these times we must look to God for the strength to keep pushing through, because it is all part of His plan.
The photo I chose today is the imprint of bike tires in the mud. These different paths seem to start as one and separate into a bunch of different directions. This is much like our individual paths. While we all have similarities in our path, it will never be exactly the same as our neighbors. We must use this path to ultimately end up with God. I am a fond believer of the saying, "Everything happens for a reason", because I truly believe that God puts us through everything to help us learn and grow in some way. Life isn't always easy, and our paths aren't always clear, but with God as our guide we can make it through everything that comes our way.
