The theme for today's photo is "worship". During Lent, and throughout the year, worship is an important part of being active in the religion. There are so many ways to worship, but do you know what all you can do?
The most common form of worship is attending Mass on Sunday or during the week, but this is not the only form of worship we can take part in. Worship can be an individual or in a group setting, it just depends on what kind of conversation you want to have with God. Worishiping individually can be an amazing experience because it is very personal. On the other hand, worshiping as a group can be equally as inspiring. There is something about being surrounded by people that share in your faith that is so moving. One of my best memories is from LA Youth Day when I was in high school. Thousands of people gathered in one place, focused on one main goal of connecting with God is hard to express how amazing it is. Worship is a powerful piece of the faith because it allows us to speak to God and thank Him for everything He has given and done for us.
